1. Data Collection Maia is a third-party client application for Mastodon and Bluesky. We respect your privacy and do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, direct messages, or browsing history to our own servers. All interactions happen directly between your device and the respective networks you log into.

2. Authentication When you log into Mastodon or Bluesky, your credentials and authentication tokens are stored securely on your local device using Apple's Secure Keychain. We do not have access to your passwords.

3. Crash Reporting (Sentry) To help us identify and fix bugs, Maia uses Sentry for crash reporting and performance monitoring. This data is strictly anonymized. It does not contain personally identifiable information (PII), account handles, or the content of your posts. It solely contains technical diagnostic data about the app's performance when an error occurs.

4. Third-Party Networks Because Maia connects to Mastodon and Bluesky, your activity is still subject to the privacy policies of the instances and networks you interact with. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
